My hubby has just got back from the Oxfordshire Sports Awards where Bradley Smith just picked up the Sportsman of the Year award, I know it's just a little local thing, but it's great to see him getting a bit of recognition.
Hubby grabbed him afterwards to congratulate him and have a bit of a chat, he says he's a really nice lad.

Still, well done to Bradley, and I look forward to the Ginger Sports Awards, where he will no doubt repeat this achievement

(not an insult, I happen to have been ginger as a child as well..... only I was never so good at the sports thing)

Yeah Bradders. You got one award. I only just found out today that he is also up for another award and that is BBC Young Sports Personality Of The Year. Congrats to Bradley for winning the award on Oxfordshire Sportsman of the Year. Now we will vote for you to win the BBC Young Sports Personality Of The Year award.

Could someone explain what the deal is with making fun of people with 'ginger' hair? I'm Canadian and I think I'm missing something cultural here.
