Imagine the splinters if you fell.
The speed looks unbelievable. Those bikes have to be north of 100 and just a bit south of 150.
I know some of the speed is probably frame rate effect, but still, there is one angle they show where it almost looks like modern sbk speeds!
Edit: Yep north of 100 south of 150. The end says the Indian achieved 212kph/130mph. Unbelievable.

riders were known to lose limbs, sometimes their heads on tracks not maintained properly...boards would come loose, and prop up...imagine sliding down a telephone poll at 130 mph.
yikes.
I find it funny how big motorcycle racing was BACK in the day here in the states...it's less known know.
