I usually was a Rossi hater in the past, but now I completely recognize and confess MotoGP never will be the same without him, and I'm starting becoming his fan.

Lorenzo, Stoner and Pedrosa together can't give half fun and competitiveness Rossi gave to this sport. I will be very sad when Valentino retires.

Whatever...

Wow, congratulations on your epiphany.

So you think it's BS? you think he did not have surgery on it ?? If you do believe he did have surgery then what do YOU think the healing time would be?

Keep your knickers on, i'm not saying it's complete ........, i'm just saying i knew he'd play that card. I find it quite amusing that other riders have injuries, come back and just get the .... on with it... Rossi has an injury, comes back and we never seem to hear the end of it. I'm not saying it isnt affecting him, but i think his troubles have more to do with him adapting to the Duke than his shoulder giving him jip. Maybe one does effect the other, but he's always going to play up an injury before admitting that Duke is a beast, otherwise people are gonna turn round and say well Casey did it, why can't the great Valentino? It gives him more time and an... not excuse, but 'reason' as to why it might take longer for the results to come through than it did Casey.

Remember Stoner banging on about his illness and his wrist? remember Pedrosa banging on about his sore arse for month's?

You are kidding me right? Men are the ones with selective hearing... women just hear what they want to hear

Anyway... yes, i do know others complain about injury. Never said they didnt and never said Rossi wasnt entitled to either.. but Rossi's cries seem to sound louder than everyone elses for some reason. Maybe his shoulder does hurt more than Casey's wrist, or Dani's ....

Or maybe that Duke is gonna take more taming than he thought...

This may be because other riders when injured dont get the tv coverage/limelite as rossi does. Everyone expects from rossi!

Just ask any tv presenter!

Yeah, true.. especially for riders further down the pack. But i wouldnt say the likes of Stoner and Pedrosa get a lot less coverage than he does, certainly not in the paddock.

The difference, you Dunderheaded Dolt!

, is that Stoner and Peddles never attempted to assign a time-lost value to the injury.

Rossi, OTOH, seems to be using it as a cure-all excuse. The exact value of the 'shoulder factor' changes from one day to the next, depending on how far behind his target speed he is on that particular day.

I don't doubt his shoulder is screwed, and that it probably dulls his racing edge. But I do wonder if even Rossi knows how much time his is really losing? His ego may not be able to accept that he's not as fast as he thought he would be - guess it's time for some unconscious rationalization! Rossi's good at spinning things to fit the politics of the moment - I think he may have actually spun himself a little!
