Noticed Yamaha Italy got a new sponsor, some bank or somthing. Anyway, Now Nori and Pitty are tearing up on bright red R1's. And I dunno why but Ten Kate's CBRs are now stark white with a fat blue stripe.

I think both changes are refreshing. I think they'll grow on us but Blue is a colour very well associated with Yamaha. Now neither SBK or MotoGP wear the dark blue.

From what I understand Yamaha's race color in Europe is red, is that right guys? Compared to the blue that we see in the US and Aus. I personally like the red R1s, very nostalgic. Nori Haga on a red Yamaha in WSB just seems right.

The Winston Ten Kate Hondas look very good. I like the reversal of last year's color scheme which was mostly blue with white trim to a mostly white look with blue banners.

Always been a fan of the looks of the FP1, especially coupled with Steve Martin's helmet and leather selections. Barros' Klaffi Honda looks very Brazilian and flashy.

I like the dark blue way better .... theres too much red on the grid!
im still getting the yamaha's confused with the ducati's...

R1's got the looks and the crazy Japanese pilot. 999R's got the "Aerodynamics" and the #21 that's at the front.

Yamaha Italy are sponsored this year by Santader Bank, which is a huge Spanish bank (I think it's in the worlds top ten in terms of profit). It makes a LOT of money. Repsol and co. are peanuts compared to Santander bank.
The CEO of the company appears in the Forbes list.

I was at the paddock during the EU championship in assen last year (in the 'tent' of yamaha to be exact) and it was all navy kinda blue or black. but this info is just a detail, so go on with the topic!

I think red n whit and the king kenny scheme are traditional colours for Yamaha, but nowdays most of their dirtbikes, soprtsbikes and gear is blue. I think it's important to have 'em blue so people are constantly reminded that it's a Yamaha.

not a fan of the Ten Kate colors. The rest are ok with me.
