This thing is over,Rossi with a 2 race lead and no one looking like they can run up front with Stoner and Rossi.Rossi can cruise if he chooses to his sixth title.I will still go because i have a ticket and i committed to half expense on a room but the excitement is all but gone. Before yesterday and thru the first few laps,i could see the Indy race being something special, now its just another race.Congrats to Rossi,he put enough pressure on Stoner this year to cause him to break.

anything can happen at indi mate. its new for everyone, my money on hayden or spies there. i would be surprised if rossi or stoner ran away with it there but who knows .

povol, its racing, anything can still happen! dont feel bad about rossi having such a big lead in the championship, thats just one tiny part of going to a race. you should feel excited that you get to see the motogp on indy for the first time in a decade. its one, if not the most interesting race Im looking forward too of this season: none of the riders, except hayden with two or three laps, have been there before. its going to be lots of fun to see them ride there, to see who can do well on a track that everyone has to learn in the same amount of time

It will still be cool but like i said, the excitement of a shrinking points lead is gone.I know weirder things have happened but now Rossi can say,I dont have to ride like i did at Laguna and risk throwing away a title. The question now is will he go into Ben Spies Mode and let Stoner go like Spies has Mladin and settle for solid finishes. If so,it will be a boring last 1\3 of the season.

this word does not apply to gps. the racing may not be as exciting as it was in laguna or other greats in the past but it is never ^^^. quit bein so negative your like an anchor dragin the bottom

In 2006 Hayden had a 51 point lead over Rossi with 6 races left. in just 5 races Rossi made up 59 points and went ahead by 8 points. I don't think we will see the comedy of errors that allowed that to happen happen again this year but it just points out that at this level everything is unpredictable. One DNF for Rossi and a 1-2 finish by Stoner and Rossi in the other 5 races and Stoner wins.

Do I think this will happen? No, but until they hand the trophy to someone I will still be watching.

Dude there are still some races left and Vale could have a crash at any of them or all of them. Although it isn't likley anything can happen so don't be so sure that it is over. Plus when I put the Voodoo out there on ROssi even though I really do like the guy he will have some problems to deal with in the next few races so have some faith that it will still be a good close season. I know I do. MOUHHAHAH MOUHHAHAHA MOUHHHAHAHAH!!!!

Dude, use your powers to get Nicky the hell out of Honda and over to your Ducati team please. The season is already over for me as a Hayden fan.

Povol, you should meet up with Jumkie there. Then at least you know you will have a good time. Knowing Jumkie you will be having a sit down dinner with Rossi or something

Believe me that it what I have been hoping for to. I think he will do well on the bike and have a team that is intrested in seeing him do well and not just be a filler rider. I think he will also have a renewed sence of intrest in gettting to the front cause of the fact his new team will be trying to get him up top. Don't forget Ducati's largest market is the United States and sold a shitload of bikes here. This is only going to help them get the word out a bit more ESPECIALLY if he is winning!

The only mistake you made was to have any hope in the first place.

This is the 800cc era. Now you understand the decay of the sport?

Does anyone really believe the sport could have fallen apart this badly with just a 200cc change in engine displacement?

I don't

Even if Rossi had already won it, I wouldn't be complaining if I had tickets to watch any motogp race.

I'm off to Valencia at the end of the year and before Sachenring I was so damn excited about going as it was looking like a three horse race. Now Rossi has won it and he's definatly not going to throw 50 points away.

Boring old MotoGP.

Be very careful about what you are doing. Someone else here tried his voodoo .... on Rossi this weekend, remember:

rossi to dump it and casey to be level on the championship

You really don't want Stoner to dump it again, do you?
