strokers are pretty reliably now days. they may burn up the odd spark plug but thats about it,
years ago they used to gum up rings and hole pistons but they have come a long way over the years, the plus side is they are easy and cheap to rebuild unlike diesels.

i think there a cool bike for a 125, they look like a ducati 916, if your going to buy one only buy one thats been looked after,if your unsure,walk away

I looked into them when i was 17. They look good, but the finish is quite poor, parts are expensive and they are all ragged. They are beaten in every way by the Aprilia RS, and if you want to be more sensible there are Honda NSR's to consider or even something four stroke. Don't bother buying a mito is my advice.

As long as your warming it up properly, using good oil and fuel there should not be any problems with two stroke bikes.
