ya entitled to your opinion.i've met the guy.seen him race,seen his band play on numerous occasions and can only say that he is one talented individual.if the package is right at tech 3 then i think james could do well.it won't be for the lack of effort.which james has proven in the past, he has bags of.

i was J/K...i just didn't want to get left out of the pointless post party..

Not meaning for this post to sound in any way like it is dissing Toseland but one would fully expect that the team would come out singing praises of their new signing, whether that be a rookie or not. For a team to make any kind of non-positive comments this early would not augur well for the relationships withing the team as the season develops so it needs to be all positive.

As for Toseland himself I hope he does have a good year (not to successful mind as I have to hope the best for the Aussies ), but it is good to see others getting a chance. For his sake I hope there is little pressure placed on him by world media (as opposed to UK) and/or the team so that he can develop throughout the year to be the rider that is needed at this level.

Now for a question (not Toseland related).

It was mentioned elsewhere in this thread about Tech 3 vs Yamaha factory teams and the wishful thinking that Tech 3 may beat the factory boys. It was said that this would be unlikely to happen as the factory woudl not like getting beaten by a non-factory team (something I agree with).

But, is Rossi/Lorenzo one team?

I am wondering as to the definition as whilst they may be under the Yamaha banner, they are not a team as they are using different equipment (ie Bridgestone vs Michelin). Or would one acquaint the tyres to football boots where many wear the brand of their choce but still play in the same coloured shirts, shorts and socks?
