MotoGP Fantasy League

Geez, I didn't expect to hold on to the top spot. Oh man what's going to happen with Ducati for the rest of the season.

The debate what do do with the spare riders 10% just got harder coz its been annouced that Hoffmann is riding on sete's bike arrrrrrrggggghhhhhh

Are people wanting to choose spare riders? i.e. the drafted in pramac d'antin guy?

I'm thinking its best just to keep the league as it is, no 10% free week, no average points added on, no subbed riders accumilating points for injured riders.

No one can predict what could have happened - and that just adds to the fun of the league, doesnt it? Racing is racing.........and thats the risk of managing a team.

Thoughts?

yea it looks like something to iron out next season ben. just leave it be for now.

No worries mate, Ive regrettably had to lose Sete and swapped him for Hopper ( which could be a good thing ) and have some spare cash in the kitty to buy a better team/engine.
 
Ben I guess it's better to leave the league the way it is.

When i thought that my team will start to score some good points becouse i've changed my team and i've finnaly put an engine: I score a big 0 ( at the team and engine).
Before Mugello: I've changed Yamaha tech 3 (that at catalunya finnaly scored points) with Honda LCR : Stoner crashed both Mugello and Catalunyaso 0 points.
Before Catalunya i've put a Ducati engine and what happens: Sete an Loris crashed and scored 0 points. And I shoul mention that Loris and Dani were my riders?

Good choice.. That's just racing..
 
So if I have Hoffman as my rider....
1) Silva will gain me points, being Hoffman's stand in rider.
2) And/or Hoffman himself will gain me points, seeing as he is on the grid?

Hi mate,

Stand in riders will not score points for injured riders.

If the Hoffmeister scores points onboard the works duke, then the points will be allocated to hoffman and not Cappirossi.

I'm not adding replacement riders to the list - but if anyone specifically wants to have Silva (or any more annouced stand in riders) in their team, please let me know (I cant see why anyone would want this - as they might only be racing at Assen).

Just to clarify - nothing is changing in the league because of the crash.
 
Ah ok, fair enough.

On an unrelated note.... I DROPPED A FURTHER TWO PLACES!!!!! How is that frikkin possible? Hayden took second place, and Michelins took first! That should be enough to lift me into the top 50 at least! Instead I went from 51st to 53rd!

I dont monitor each single team - so perhaps others above you had a bigger points gap, some below you had more points scoring teams....loads of different variables!

All I know is you scored 10 points & earnt 3 mill.

Maybe you could do a print screen so you can compare your team to others after the race? Remember though, people change their teams quite often!

Just switched my Michelins with Bridgestones, earned the extra half million needed and switched LCR Honda with Suzuki MotoGP. Tyres really is not worth the cost, only half a million.
 
I like your new siggy Isreali. Leave it to Richo to come up with signature worthy material.
 
so for like the first time iv upgraded my supa duppa team haha Edwards, dropped like a led balloon.. .... ... he was.. D'antin Ducati can .... right off too.. that little spanish dude better do it for, or ill kill him, i swear

I`d love to see you commentate for a GP race, Dan. The other guy would be like "And here`s DePuniet, having dissapointing season. Maybe being held back by the Kawasaki" then Dan puts in his 2 cents: "BUUUUUULLLLLSHHHIIIT! The Frog`s problem is he spends too much time eating snails and growing body hair and not enough time riding motorbikes.
