It will be interesting to see how he gets on. If he gets regular top tens then I will be impressed (not that my approval is foremost is on Joan's mind, I'm sure).

AM does seem to have got stuck in Moto2. Do the GP teams not want him because of his brother? Didn't seem to affect the Asparagusses. I don't think he does have the magic of Marc, but it feels like he's been doing well enough in 2 for long enough.

How did Mir swing such an early promotion?

Mini Marquez is a perennial bridesmaid. He has consistently been outperformed by his teammates (give it a few more races and Mir will too) and he is nowhere the talent his brother is. He might get an Avintia or Aspar seat at some point, but nothing top tier straightaway.

He's way faster than Rossi's brother tho, isn't he

Miller was perhaps not as silly as many thought to skip moto2.

worst thing is to think that moto2 replaced an amazing class like the 250 2 stroke :(

When did it change?

I just wonder because I read more and more that Moto2 isn't the best feeder class. It must have been at sometime?

Poor Luthi. He's not taken to the change to MotoGP well, it doesn't look.

The only thing that was wrong with Moto2 is that it was slowly turning into the Kalex cup. But KTM is now changing that.

It is actually cheaper to compete in Moto2 than Moto3. It's a great equalizer class where individual talent can shine because of identical spec machinery.

Sure, it is more like supersport WSBK racing than GP bike racing to me, although there is close racing if that is your be all and end all.

Still no premier class world champion who has come the whole way from moto3, MM rode in the 125 class didn’t he?.

Yep. Pretty sure he won the last 125 championship. Then jumped on the 4 stroke Moto2.
