I should feel sympathy for Hopper but I do not. Everyone has challenges in life and we are expected to perform our duty despite personal distractions. A poor performance is one thing but to be unable to perform because of a sore head is disgusting. He signed up to ride the green piece of .... Kawasaki have the nerve to call a MotoGP bike, but he has a job that most of us would give a testicle(or ovary) for. Headache or not get up, drink some coffee, take aspirin, and do your job. He had better ride the wheels off of the big green bike if he wants to stay in MotoGP for the future.

IMO this is a very tough situation.

On one hand he has obligations to his employer to be available as/when needed and in a fit state to provide the services they require.

On the other hand, if he is in no emotional state to provide those services then his employer need to look at what is best for his welfare and that of his fellow competitors (after all, a wandering mind means lack of concentration).

IMO, cut him the slack teh first time, have a chat and alert him to the expectation, requirements and obligations of his job. If the problems persist, then look at what actions are best for all concerned (including the lady involved).

If it's true that she caught him cheating, then the situation is entirely of his own making, and I don't have any sympathy for him at all.
How did he expect her to react? Maybe he should have thought about that before he shagged someone else.
He cheated, he got caught and he couldn't handle the consequences.

If she was just a golddigger, then why would she be upset if she caught him cheating?
She would be happy, some nice evidence for the divorce settlement hearing.

Weve all done worse than that buddy!

I just think the guy is overrated, and underachieving, and if he fell in a pile of ..... he'd come out with a salmon on his head. He has won .... all on a GP bike, but can command huge wages, and go awol on the piss and keep his ride. I just don't get why he is here. His fourth last year means jack now, and he's in danger of his team mate over taking him in the points.

I understand your sympathy Jumkie. I have had very difficult situations involving a woman I was shagging and my work performance has suffered, but I did not fall apart and allow the other areas of my life to suffer as a consequence. <u>If a man really, really loves his woman he will never allow himself to be caught.

LIsten don't get your panties all in a ruffle. What I mean by hangerson whores are just like groupies who only want to hang around and hook up with the talent. So I am not referring to all women just the group who are like that. No one in my family is like that going to a sporting event trying to hook up with the talent so shut the hell up and learn how to read objectivly and not with your womens liberation radar freaking out when a chick gets called a name when she deserves it.
