Ah, Stoner on a Ducati...
He was only 20kms from Borgo Panigale just a few days ago, visiting a famous supercar manufacturer that is part of the same group.
Maybe Stoner wants to race cars now?

I miss Stoner (sorry Sparrow). But something I miss more is the sound and spectacle of the screamer Ducati (...of course ridden by Stoner.)

Maybe he just wanted a Lamborghini LP 610-4 Huracán -- they say he drove away on it.
The Audi group certainly has the means to lure any rider, especially now that Ducati is clearly competitive; if I were Ducati I would do anything to try and steal Stoner's wild card at P.I. to Honda. Inviting him to visit Lamborghini and giving him a courtesy car to drive is a nice way to begin talking.
