AFAICT there is nothing here to imply that Ducati are choosing to move away from Tobacco sponsorship. Marlboro sponsorship ending in 2010 will presumably be forced by nanny states demanding that nothing as devilish as tobacco be shown to the gun toting, knife wielding children of today.

Trust me, electronics and electrics are not the same.
We all know how Italian "businesses" work (especially ones with social significance like power providers and motorcycle manufacturers). Now that Ducati have a new Italian star in the saddle, they have acquired government sponsorship.
anyway they will just do what they did with the Ferrari continue sponsoring the Ducati with silly white bland images
because they know the colours are enough to sell their well known brand.
