I was wondering if MotoGP riders are aware when test sessions or Practice sessions are going out live ? If so do you think they feel under more pressure with all those eyes on them ?
Humans generally act different whislt being watched. Some say certain members of the premier class arent human !

I suspect that there are cameras on them at all times during nearly every outing on a track. Assuming that my first assumption is true (hmm, that could get messy) then they're likely to be quite used to the presence of the cameras and think very little of it.

I do however, wonder if anyone is thinking about that shiny new BMW that they can win this weekend....hmmmm.

I wonder what the Italian taxes on that BMW would be?

I think that these guys have become accustomed to tons of scrutiny, as for the Bimmer I do not think any of them really care.

I think there'd be a lot more pressure from the teams themselves (especially factory teams), than pressure from spectators.
Remember, there is nowhere to hide with the computers monitoring every facet of how these bikes work. If you .... up, or aren't performing the technicians will know about it straight away. Just look where Ant West was after the PI test, after Hopkins injury. He realised he wasn't performing up to the level required, and the team management let him know about it. That's pressure!

If you have ever raced you know it is unlike any other sporting event. When your on the track you pretty much see nothing, but the race line. No feeling, hearing, just the race track. It is a weird feeling. Just watch an on board video and you will probably notice that it looks like no one is around.
