What a race! Just enjoyed so much watching it. Felt for Stoner he was really struggling.

Rossi my hero! Lorenzo my new hero!

Does anyone know what compound tire the riders were using? example: mediums or hard tires?

the rossi of old! lorenzo.... simply amazing! edwards finally makes his practice pace come good during a race... but methinks you need more aggression... like jorge. dovi needs that factory honda... & soon! ashame for stoner... really bad luck. i was wanting him to finish in front of pedders.

Stoner wins

Seemed to as it was something in the drive train. The engine were running and he managed to get around the lap, sort of. Probably the clutch.

No egg over here. Edwards got a podium only after Jorge pressed him.
He should have passed Pedrosa long before Jorge arrived...

It may be just me but it is very telling that he didn't push when he could have clearly pushed for a second place...
Maybe team orders are in place... who knows....

The only egg that would/should be thrown if Edwards backed up and lived up to his mouth/potential. (Let him tell it he should have finished 2nd in the Championship a few times by now)

Innumerable times Edwards has astonished in Free Practice, Qualifying and Monday testing - only to do what in the race. An occasional podium does not erase years of mouthing off and years of not living up to the mouth off.

I like CEII. He is an american. God knows we are short on american riders that are producing good results.

But you have to call it like it is...

CEII talks a lot and produces very little - consistently

he got a podium mate ! the man man was 3rd best out there today so far from finished me thinks. he not only had good qualifying but he finished 3rd in the race. heres a tissue,i can see some egg on ya face
<
<
after all you DID say he qualifies well but gets nowhere in the race.

Regardless of results motogp has been excellent this season so far. The racing has been pretty good, and the championship is WIDE open. I love it.

I actually thought Rossi was pretty amazing today, when he put his times down there was no answer, and when the conditions got bad he had a safe space to work in. It would be difficult not to be impressed with Rossi today unless you were someone who was in the "huge bike advantage" camp last year
<

Another disappointing weekend from Hayden, he seems pretty downhearted these days.
<

Well done Brad, for siezing the second chance that was given to him, in very tricky conditions.

And in 250's, what about Marco Simoncelli's last corner pass on Pasini. He made it sick, and he got second place...looking like a proper championship protagonist at last.

Rossi - awesome, and again he shows his utter respect for the history of the sport, and deference towards his predecessors. Remember the 'Sorry Mike' flag at Phillip Island when he overtook Hailwood's tally? Today was brilliant, and that's why we love this sport.
