Back to the topic at hand, good on you Dorna. Give the money to a factory who doesn't have any desire to improve their offer or be there in the first place. That makes sense. All the while you have guys like KR, Ilmor and the MotoCysz guys busting their ... and spending money to try and get to grand prix. But those guys don't have that big factory appeal and certainly no money to persuade Dorna with, it wouldn't make sense.
NJMSP could connect the 2 tracks and make a MotoGP level circuit for under 5 milllion. Call it the GP of New York for branding. Hold it memorial day and promote it hard. 100k+ people show up.
Also, Valentino or Nicky should be the safety 'car' (bike) at Monaco F1. Cross promotion!
Aspar, Ilmor and KR could get in if they pooled their resources and lobbied DORNA. They seem to want it all on a silver platter. Invest in a sound sponsorship plan, design a competitive prototype and play guest in a few races. Ezy wants bikes in, just not sucky bikes without sponsors. He's got the Hyate for that.
