Yeah ELav is running good in WSBK but I dunno if he is GP material, but I would have said that about Cal also in 2010 so who knows...
If I was gonna guess at Suzuki's line up, I'd go for Smith (can't see him staying a Tech3, more Yamaha's choice than Herve's) and A Esp (likely only option for a factory ride and almost factory paycheck).

i doubt JL will go to Ducati, Pramac said the seat is Ianones if Cal leaves. I am guessing he will take the paycut and agree to all their terms.

With the signing of Dani for another two years, Jorge's chances for a fast Honda are gone. A SAT Honda should be his last choice. That only leaves the Duc and the Suzy to choose between.

He'll re-sign with Yam.

He'll re-sign with Yam.

I would think that is his most logical choice. He has Assen and the rain behind him now but if you remember he also fell heavily at Sachsenring last year. It will be interesting to see if his mood improves this week and he rides as he is capable of riding.

At the present time I would give him a 50/50 chance of leaving. But once I see how he goes at Free Practice 1, I might have to change that hunch. He will be my main focus during the practice sessions.

Ah ha.......just found out Jorge was spotted in Italy within a stone's throw of the Ducati plant. Wonder why he was down there this week?

I'm not bullish on Lorenzo's future. He rides wheels-in-line cornerspeed, but Dorna have indicated they want to return to 990-esque tire smoking.

He'll still be at the sharp end, but I'm not sure about championships.

Dorna could see the excitement that was being created in Moto2 with fans biting their nails, jumping with joy, screaming and urging their favorite on. When they looked at the GP class, it was two laps of sorting out and then 25 laps of follow the leader. It's all about the show and Dorna will provide a show. So change had to come to add excitement.

I don't know if George can change his style to one more suited to the new spec tire. But he does need to try. Rossi has managed to adapt over the years and I can see no reason for Jorge to balk at change. He needs to put forth an effort and find out if he can wiggle and slide. If nothing else he could chat with Pol as he is experimenting along those lines with the current rubber compounds.

I'm thinking he will go to Ducati...not sure why he would take a trip to Maranello unless he's going 30 miles up the road to Ducati Island.

Jorge Lorenzo visits Ferrari

You guys are like X Files fans with all your conspiracy and conjecture.

Some of you should be watching Bold & the Beatiful or Days of Our Lives rather than MotoGP.

We will find out what Jorge is doing soon enough..............he will want to be on the best bike that is still available....probably the M1

It's not the trip to Ferrari that is a conspiracy. Both he and his agent were aware of the timing of this event. Also they both chose to have a press release to make the visit public. They knew there would be questions asked in relation to Ducati. When he gets to the 'ring he will be queried on the matter of a Ducati offer.

My bet is his reply will be "No Comment"

Conspiracy = no
Negotiations = definitely
Interesting = hell yes

Of course you don't.
How would you know his mindset????
Why would you even post that.

As for sharing my opinion.....I agree with you.....you don't have a clue.

You post up stuff that is so over dramatic and convoluted it is at a detriment to the forum.

Keep it simple....racing.

No "what ifs"
No "I imagine"
No "I think he's thinking"

You're like the John Edwards of the forum

Keep it simple....racing.....not conspiracies and crazy theories

This kind of bitchy stuff is what sent away so many people. If you don't like the post - just ignore it. Lots of times a post may start out with less than golden concepts and over time morph into an interesting discussion. Things have been quiet here since the split-up. We don't need to insult and be hateful to everyone whose posts don't meet up to your high standards. We don't need to alienate people for the sake of alienating them. It prevents lurkers from becoming participants.

If Jorge Lorenzo does vacate his seat on the M1 then Pol is already a Yamaha contract rider on loan to Tech 3 and he (Pol) will take the factory bike next year.

Keshav you kinda contradict yourself but I respect your different opinion.

It has been more than posts complaining about juvenile fanboy ravings at the root of this places downward spiral

Again Keshav that's not meaning you.

Lorenzo to stay on the M1.

Taking a look at Jorge's face today, I'm going to stick my neck out and say its either Ducati or he'll retire.

He doesn't look a happy bunny, even Mr Rossi looked happier (god knows how)

My stupid internet connection goes out every time lightning flashes. We had a summer thunderstorm right at the end of the race and I spent the entire post race viewing time resetting my router. Missed most of the interviews.

So I thank you for your observations on Jorge and welcome to the forum.
