Anyone seen the Jorge Lorenzo documentary, "JORGE" ????

Really worth watching if you get the chance.

Must admit, I have a new level of respect for this guy. It was released Dec 2010, so covers all the 2010 season.

In Spanish - with sub titles in English

I saw it on an Emirates flight.

Google it, I'm sure its on the net somewhere. Covers lots of really old stuff, with Junior Lorenzo spending hours and hours learning how to push a mini bike to the limits of a bike, and his old man cracking the whip and pushing him.

Also had some interesting comments about Vale from other people inside the Fiat team (keeping in mind it was mostly filmed during the 2010 season)

IMHO, there's nothing about Jorge that I find interesting to sit and watch a documentary about him. he's got the charisma of dried-up turd which adds nothing to his "entertainment" value. don't get me wrong, he's a very consistent rider on a top-notch bike and that pretty much covers his story. not fun to watch racing and very dull during interviews. motogp is dreading the day he carries their torch. does nothing for their value. of course, this is all IMHO.

I agree. His personality is soo..... how do you say, FAKE. It's as if he's always trying too hard to have charisma and charm, when really he's a pretty dull guy.

Though I would like to watch this documentary to get a glimpse of who he really is...... assuming he's being himself and not faking it to the camera all the time.

I suppose it all depends on what emotional response you're looking for. Jorge is not a raging extrovert, and his English is weak.

If you're expecting HR Puf-n-Stuff antics, with your favorite 'personality' giggling and winking at the camera, J-Lo is not your guy. If, on the other hand, you enjoy watching skilled riders battle to the death, he'll do just fine.

Lemme take a wild guess and say that you're probably a big Rossi fan. Tell me, do you watch MotoGP for the sport, or to follow your pet rider?

Hard to comment on it without watching.

I agree, and I was definitely not a fan of JL, but you have to respect the guy for what he has achieved.

Cough up the $ 2.99, and waste an hour of your life, and then pass comment.

A lot of the doco is about his childhood, and the tough relationship he had with his father, who pushed him very hard.
