I found this article fascinating...Jorge does not appear bitter at all at losing in such dramatic fashion at Catalunya.

It's very rare to see a rider drop the macho 'I only lose when something goes wrong on my end' and give credit to another rider; even a rider he doesn't get along with at all.

Well, Lorenzo lost all his last-lap duels with Rossi on the M1, if he really wants to beat him in a duel on equal machinery he can always join him at Ducati and have fun battling with Vale (or more probably Abrahams) for 8th or 9th.

Good article and no daggers from Lorenzo. I'm starting to actually like him. It shows he is a competitor and loves the fight.

Exactly. It shows so much humility and self-confidence.

In fact, I remember being startled to see Jorge after he lost at Catalunya smiling and giving Rossi kudos for the pass. I think when you can react to losses in such a positive fashion, it shows a lot of mental strength. He doesn't take a loss like that to be a devastating event. Very interesting character - I can't remember any rider with so much competitive spirit that is so humble.

He's just trying gain some of Rossi's lost fans!

All teasing aside, I honestly believe he is respected by all, and he has matured.

example: The past tiffs with Pedrosa are sorta water under the bridge.

I never got the feeling there was any animosity towards Vale.

This whole article reminiscing about Rossi is only for the sake of the last paragraph regarding the safety of motegi - he's leaving the door ajar because of all the aftershocks.

BS or not, that race was pretty special. I smacked my head on the ceiling as they crossed the line...
