<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Hell NO you're NOT far fetched!...I brought this up way back when MJ git into bikes and got into the AMA...
I'm sure i'll NEVER find it, but MJ said himself he'd like to sponsor a Moto GP team....
He has the money and the sponsors for sure.
When he first started his team the questions came about as to whether or not he would move to GP and he said from the get-go that MotoGP is his goal. His AMA team is just a stepping stone, or a place to learn before he sinks serious money into a GP project.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>yeah, sponsor magnet, plus he's from NC where alot of the tobacco companies are headquartered. Lots of $$$$$
I doubt that would happen. Michael Jordan is in iconic stature to kids, I don't think he would put cigarettes on the sides of his bikes no matter the money. And isn't there an unofficial freeze of tobacco sponsorship within all the Japanese manufacturers?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Also i don't think Spies is the man for the job, would he support someone else non american with more experience?
He'd sign anyone he thinks can win. Evident by trying to lure Hayden back to AMA to ride for him in 2005 or 2006. But most, if not all of his rider relations are with Americans.
