) Their both good riders, but I think that Chris will win more and more in the future, because it takes time to ride a totally different bike than he did at the time when he sat on a SBK. He proved at the Ten Kate team that he can fight like a man at the top and that he's a very clever guy also with both feet on the ground... thats why I see in him a bright future although there are a few other potential world champs.

definatley the most interesting teammate battles we've had in awhile

What about repsol honda last year fighting for the world title, that was far better.

I think CV has a bright future ahead of him for sure, however i think Hopkins is the better rider now, and more likely to be world champion in the furure. Hopper is closing the difference in their wet weather abilities faster than CV is closing the difference in their dry pace.

I'm not a big fan of Hopper, but I'm going to back him on this one. I think the talent has always been there but he always seemed to be a bit of a playboy (Liuzzi style), although that may be just an image thing rather than an actual mentality. I think he will come out on top in terms of point-haul, and I think he'll get a win before the seasons out.

As much as I like Chris, when the chips are down, at the moment he only seems to beat Hopkins in the wet. He only does it occasionally when its dry. But seeing as this is only his second year, there could be improvements in the future.

Hopkins seems to be more consistent whilst occasionally Chris pulls out something good like at Donny + when he got his win. If it continues in this pattern consistency will win and so probably Hopkins will come out infront.

He' only now just learning all the tracks and the dude can ride in the dry. I'm thinking CV by 10 at the end of the year!!

I hope CV comes out on top theres just something about Hopkins i dont like...

Agree. Both are outstanding guys, as riders and as human beings. I think I would give the edge to Hopkins. But Vermuelen is not far behind. I think they are both better than we have seen but have languished with a Suzuki. It’s not a coincidence that Suzuki has champions like Schwantz and Roberts Jr. (few and far between)--its hard to find somebody with the talent to take a Suzuki to the podium and willing to stay with this brand long enough to take it to a championship. (Even harder in today's climate where many riders are glory hogs). But I think in this case both of these guys have both the talent and wherewithal.

Vermeulen definatly, Hopkins has turned into a sissy on the track.

Everytime someone like Rossi or Stoner tries to pass him, he doesn't put on a fight, he's like Parrish used to be.

Vermeulen has really come on leaps and bounds this season, he's great in the wet but he's also good in the dry and he will be a title contender soon enough.

Uhm, are you sure you are talking about MotoGP this season?

Another points decision to CV in qualifying. If it stays dry though I'm pretty sure Hopper is gonna finish a few places ahead in the race. If its wet, the points will go to CV!!
