A little awkward, but I thought it was a good play on their part when someone asked the question about the MM & Rossi clash. Props to JLo for starting the trend of basically telling people to STFU about it.

Why was the press conference awkward ? What did they say about the rossi marquez crash ?

That's why it was awkward, everyone kept asking & everyone kept repeating themselves! What they said in interviews since Argentina is the same .... they were saying now. Except Rossi said MM is going to get less kisses now but in the bedroom it'll stay the same. :giggle:

Lorenzo certainly looks strong. This could be his week for sure.
Once again Rossi languishing during practice. It could be shades of Argentina all over again. While everyone's fooling around with soft tires, Rossi and is team are putting all efforts in what the believe they'll need for the race. I don't remember qualifying position being so inconsequential as it is this year so far.
also. did anyone else watch Motogp fp2 streaming live ? Mine kept showing the Moto3 fp2.

Was told today that the hard option for tires are getting too slippery.
It should be interesting and will see if the factories are opting for the softer of the two options they have.

Jlo bags this one. I think he'll qual on the pole and lead from start to finish in the race. Dovi and MM take the other two podium spots.

Not so sure about MM making the podium given his performance this morning....
3 days of practice will take its toll on that broken finger/hand....

Rossi will take one of the podium spots IMO.....

FP3
1) JLo - Off the win after extending his contract for another year...
2) P.Esparagus - Angry that he will now definitely not get a factory Yamaha seat in 2016
3) Cal - Has to carry HRC flag, so he is doing the best he can...
4) A.Esparagus - False Hope riding....
5) Dovi - GP15 wings arent making fly as fast here...
6) Vale - Getting his Race pace up to JLo times.....should be on Podium at end
7) MM - Falling back and will be a danger to himself and others at start...
8) Iannone - Must be testing stuff for Ducati to be this far back...
9) Smith - You cant let the Esparagus P. beat you....
10) Redding - working on it....come on Scott...
11) Vinales - Actual normal position of Suzukis...
.....Everyone else are just being grid fillers....
23) Hayden - Yeah that is about right for this talent....

Ianonne will bag this one.

Write this.

He's ....... sandbagging, he looks so speedy and comfortable.

Don't know what happened to him this weekend but he'll be there.

We could see a real lap one brawl. If Rossi stays clear of the early melee, he'll podium. I think MM on pain killers tomorrow will do far better than expected. I also expect Lorenzo to win from the lead. Aleix Esp will be pushing very hard early as will Crazy Joe, those guys at the front are total wildcards. I'm really looking forward to this one. It'll be nice to see Lorenzo back on form.

I think predicting a Lorenzo win is easy but the other spots are truly up for grabs. Good times.

Well, this is boring. Glad to see Lorenzo of form but this race really disappointed. I expected more. MM proves why he's still the man to beat. Without a tire advantage, Rossi was unable to challenge either of the front two. I expect Rossi to use that hard vs med tire strategy on and off for the remainder of the season. Lorenzo pulled a Stoner and simply rode off...

Agreed...very boring....

JLo - good to see him on the podium...let alone win....
MM - clearly is now thinking of championship...
Rossi - 200th podium, still leading the championship, still the GOAT

Dovi - 3
Cal - 1

Really impressive to see Lorenzo pull a 1:38.7 during the race. I think it was clear at that point that he was going to get it done. MM managed that gap particularly well.

A race like the ones in the pre-marquez age in motogp... each one doing his best but whithout fight between them.

Maybe less fun, but a good race anyway.

I have a feeling Rossi will finish 3rd in the championship.

I think Marc is still the guy to beat. One good weekend from Jorge doesn't make him a contender. Plus the ducati's are still there.

Does anyone know what iannone did to his electronics during the race? Cal said something about pressing the wrong button.

yeah - he accidentally switched on the mappings for wet conditions.

Andrea Iannone:
“For sure today’s race was very difficult for me, because I made an error that cost me very dear, one that I should have avoided. Unfortunately at the start I switched on the mapping for wet conditions instead of launch control, and as a result had to do the whole race with ‘wet’ set-up because the procedure to return to dry settings is very complicated..."
