I love it when MotoGP and WSBK bikes are on the track together!

If I am reading the live reports right,Tom Sykes is now leading, with the same lap time as Lorenzo’s circuit record. Jonny Rea is Second.

Come on Kawasaki. Get your ... back in MotoGP with your two boys and put up a real fight instead of letting WSBK making you take part in a three legged race until the others can catch up.

Rea should be in MotoGP. Simple.

If I were Suzuki or KTM, I'd be throwing a big cheque his way,

There were certainly murmurs of an Iannone-Rea swap but they subsided quickly.
I would certainly love to see him in MotoGP, but like he himself said, only in competent machinery. I don’t want him to do a Eugene Laverty in MotoGP.

I still would like to see Kawasaki back though. It might not have a lot of results under the belt, but man, that ZX-RR was one beautiful bike!

Rea and Sykes within a second of factory MotoGP alien bikes lol and BSB only 3.6 seconds down which are essentially stockers with a few extra bits.

The WSBK times were apparently set on qualifier tyres, but still... that’s mighty impressive.
As I said before, I really want to see Kawasaki back in MotoGP with Sykes and Rea.

Seems like Chaz Davies took a pretty bad tumble yesterday and might miss the test today.
Hope he’s alright.

IMO the BSB riders are way better than the WSB ones, WSB seems to be the poor relative to MotoGP.

The BSB bikes are probably harder to ride given that they have no rider aids and it's a more competitive series overall with a lot more riders capable of winning and on top of that international riders with WSB and MotoGP experience tend to struggle. Take Sylvain Guintoli for example a man with over a decade of experience racing in GP and a former WSB champion got outscored by his 20 year old rookie teammate Bradley Ray this year. Nori Haga a man with over 40 WSB race wins scored a solitary podium when he came to BSB while his teammate battled for the championship. Though saying that some riders have come over and been successful Josh Brookes and Ryuichi Kiyonari being the most recent, John Hopkins had one good season but has largely been irrelevant since.

It's a tough championship for sure and it's very easy to be contending for wins one season then struggling to finish in the top 10 the next.

BSB bikes are probably naturally the best suited to Jerez... the track is more similar to Brit tracks than most MGP/WSBK tracks. Their lack of HP is negated to a great extent.
