I agree with most of your post. However, I feelt hat one has to use their descretion while reading both articles to determine what is fact and what is opinion. Any given manufacturer and their sponsors reserve their right to support any rider one rider more than the other. While many Americans may feel that Nicky was not given due attention, the Spaniards would think that what Honda did was fully justified.

And, whether or not Pedrosa "rode with impunity" can only be confirmed by Pedrosa. To me, his behaviour and apology after the race seem sincere.
