Over the last few years AMA races have been shown on Men & Motors and Sky Sports, albeit repeats, but I haven't seen anything for this season and it's already underway. So as per the thread title: Is the new AMA season being televised in the UK?

Edit: I meant Motors TV.

As far as i can find its not on Motors Tv, which is where its been in the past.

We normally get your Speed transmissons on Sky Sports Xtra, or Motors TV, often by live feed. Obviously that wouldn't be possible anymore, but it seems no one is even showing the highlights. We used to get all the Superbike, F.Xtreme, and Supersport races. We also used to get the Australian Superbikes on Motors which is the only reason I know who the likes of Glen Allerton, Shawn Giles, Jason O'Hallerhon and of course Jamie Stauffer are. (It was funny to be watching Eastern Creek again after all these years). I suppose those highlights are gone as well.
I Recently posted this on the subject - it would appear that neither Sky or Motors are showing the Speed coverage this year. Bummer

If they don't televise it in the US, what a slap in the face of they did in the UK. But seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

I thought you still got some sort of truncated highlights package on Speed Jum.

It's really been reorganized, the classes are definitely very different, and some classes they don't show anything but the highlights for.. but the coverage I'd say is pretty good with flag to flag races for the major ones.

like the old Supersport / Formula Xtreme is now Sportbike ( i think it's called ).. and the Superbike classes are shown flag to flag.. and coverage is actually not bad, i've been pleased except for the 1-2 week delay.. but the new Supersport class.. i dunno what the heck it is.. last race there was only 6 or 7 riders.. hardly television worthy for sure.

anyway if you can find it on tv.. it looks like it might actually be a little more exciting. at least tommy hayden has looked on the level with mladin the last two races.. hodgson was just injured in a dirttrack excursion.. but he looked good too.. so we'll see

Well bud, this is what they give us: a week or two in delay and only one or two races. For example, last weekend was a double header weekend, with Superbike and Daytona Sportbike having each two races(4 in total). They only televised ONE each. The supersport coverage doesn't exist, but just about 3 minutes of highlights and 3 minutes of the new MotoGT class. Its crap.
