If you could bring back a track...

If you could bring back a track that at one time had GP racing, which would it be and why?

I would bring back Brazil. Why, because that is the last place Roberts Jr. was crowned champion and it was a sight of some great racing in its short history. Plus another thing I like about Brazil, to quote my favorite rider: "Brazil's got talent."

I also like South Africa and Turkey (now gone), but if I had to choose one, I'd go with Brazil.

What say you?

Turkey without a shadow of a doubt, it shouldnt have been taken off the calendar in the first place - we've had excellent racing there.

Dump Sachsenring for Nurburgring, get rid of Motegi for Suzuka and dump China for Istanbul. Now we're talking!

Motegi for Suzuka?

You'd really want them to go back to the place where GP's brightest star was extinguished?

I love Sachsenring. The Nurburgring F1 circuit is .....!

China for Istanbul? HERE HERE!

Ooops - what was I thinking? Nurburgring? I meant Hockenheim! Very embarrassed! And yes, dump Motegi - Suzuka is awesome if a little dangerous!

How about the "old" Nurburgring? You know, the one that takes a tank of fuel & a cut lunch to complete a lap!

But seriously, what about the track in Austria where the 500's used to race ages ago... I vaguely remember it being called the Österreichring (at Zeltweg) before they .......ised it into the A1-Ring... much like what they've done to Assen!

The new Hockenheim is awful they have completely ruined it. & If they went back to Brazil I'd much rather see them go to Interlagos.

I agree

and may be old Assen

Agree with a couple of others here ... hockenheim and salzburgring for me!

I don't suppose we could get the full Isle of Man circuit on there .. it would only need to be a 3 lap race! They might need about 4 different sets of pits at various points on the circuit to swap bikes to cater for the different track conditions though!

The awesome Salzburgring, check out the onboard shots of the climb up the hill. Unreal.

I stand corrected... this was the track that I had in mind!
