I also liked the "out weigh your ambition" ..... slap to VR, and when he stood on the side of the track clapping for VR as he rode by. It's the closest anybody has ever come to telling Rossi '.... you'. I wish more riders did that.
I'm serious, I wish Marquez would have said .... back to the media like Rossi does. Marquez only tried to defend himself from the accusations, instead he should have gone a step further and said, Rossi is inventing .... because he too slow or he's angry with himself because he can sleep from nightmares of me being faster, etc. .... just too throw it back in his face. None of them do it. .... the JL thumbs down has made him worse than child rapists. But I wish they'd go full on talking ..... Remember when Nicky basically said FU to Alberto Puig by putting a sticker on his bike with his Nicky font that said "HYPOCRITE"? Then chickenshit Honda made him remove it. It seems to me Rossi has been the only one to get away with talking ..... Everyone else who attempts it gets smashed for it. I honestly think JL's production celebrations were poking fun at Rossi. Nobody really ever appreciated this notion. But I think Rossi at some point figured it out when Lorenzo pulled up a chair that looked in between neon yellow and green, sat in front of a jumbotron and ate popcorn as he watched the race highlights. That's my favorite celebration because it annoyed Rossi. I believe most of JL's celebrations were aimed at doing just that.
If you noticed, Rossi is much more susceptible to being goaded. Look at how ballistic he got over the thumbs down. He can't get over it. You can see it still on the podium or press conferences. He looks so uncomfortable now. I love it. I wish Marquez and Lorenzo did that .... all the time. Lorenzo should have replied when asked about the booing, yeah, they're booing me because Rossi is still angry I beat him, so they're obviously expressing their displeasure. .... it really. At this point decency is gone, why try to be the bigger man? I know .... like this gets under Rossi's skin way more than it ever has under Marquez and Lorenzo.
