<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BEN @ Jul 14 2005, 10:45 AM)<div class='quotemain'>Aside from this, it will be very interesting how Hayden goes at Donny...............his confidence must be sky high........and we all know confident riders make good racers.

Did everyone see Nicky's interview after the race, his voice was shaking and he was just so happy after being "semi written off" after last season.

Ben.

You could def see AND hear his emotion after the race, it brought a lump to my throat, hte guy really desrved it, prob more so than Colin im afraid to say- hes been with repsolHRC for 2years, that must be some pressure...

As far as Donny goes, in my mind the two guys who could have beaten Rossi last year at Donny have just boosted their confidence so, lets roll the dice!!

Ps. il be there to see the action live

The kid is a class act, undoubtedly. You guys are going to be treated to quite the show, I think we may see closer racing throughout the year. If Nicky can keep the momentum it could change the look of the leading 3 or 4 riders and Edwards is due so add that to the mix. I'm also curious to see how Melandri bounces back. He seems to go pretty fast there until he is on his backside in the kitty litter. It's another home race for him as he lives in Derby so it will be interesting for sure. Is anyone willing to go out on a limb and announce the beginning of the end for Gibernau and Biaggi? Because it wouldn't be far from the truth.

I am so pumped to see if Nicky can stay up front. From the way I see it right now is that the front is going to get crowded with Rossi, Melandri, Hayden and Edwards. Who knows which Sete and Biaggi will show up. They both seem to have split personalities.

I am expecting the rest of the season to make this the most competitive in years.

I'm not.

I think Laguna was a one off and Rossi will destroy the others in every race except 1 or 2.

I hope I'm wrong.

My post was purely wishful thinking. Valentino is going to be the dominant racer for the rest of the season..hell for the rest of his career but I can only hope that someone.....ANYONE can at least make him work for it.

Max only wins on tracks he worships-with good set up.Please dont write off Sete, its just a glitch for him and he will be back to the form he had earlier. With Rossi though,I think the word is CONSISTENCE in his results year after year.Love or hate him, you`ve got to admire his racing brain!
