Important points:

The bikes run the long curve at point 2 on the map, the single left hander at point 3, the inside loop at point 6, but not the pointy bit at point 7 (which is copied from Monaco). Not sure about the other loop at point 8.

onboard lap starts about 30 secs in

I'm happy that at least they won't cancel a round like last year. I'm unhappy that its in Spain. How about another round in France or the UK? 4 in Spain, geez; not enough that they already have 5 riders on the grid (three of which are token).

Exactly. The Hungaroring looked great, but as long as they have a back up track, I'm happy. I'm not thrilled about having 4 rounds in Spain, but Motorland Aragon has a lot of potential, imo. Circuits like Jerez and Motorland Aragon highlight was is so great about Spanish motorcycle circuits. The way the utilize the layout and the hillside stadium seating are both fantastic.

I hope everything works out at Aragon and they draw big crowds. I think the track has a lot of potential, though it does look a bit slow.

From the elevation pic I'd say the inside loop after point 6 - the bit in brown in pic 2

hmmm could be... i watched that vid & could'nt tell... maybe that slow ... rider didn't take that part off the track.

I hadn't watched the vid, but now I see what you mean, especially about the speed of the rider - could have been me!

I'd now say it's at 1:30 in, and that makes it the right left sequence just before 5 on the map, ie not where I reckoned before!!

Section 5. The short straight leads to the brow of a hill, then you flick it right and left as you fall off the edge of the world.

Fuel consumption up that straight is going to be high.

edit: Okay I just looked again. Which way does this thing go?

edit again: Okay the braking at the end of the downhill straight will be tough...off to bed for the old man...
