Watched them both, as you guys know I'm a huge Stroupe fan...season over for him and Pourcel takes the title...dammit!
The big bike series got interesting this weekend, and Villo looks to make it interesting. Not sure pressure is getting to Dungey or if it was just one of those weekends, but that kid still impressing the hell out of me by not loosing his composure in the main when he stalled his bike.

Finally Villopoto gets the break he needs. I was pretty confident that Dungey would make a mistake since he's had a near flawless season so far. RV has to be perfect and win the last 4 races in order to tie in the points. He would win the tiebreaker because of more wins. He has proven in the past that he is mentally tough enough win when he's down so even though I'm a bit doubtfull I think he can do it. What a tremendous feat it would be. The next 4 weeks are going to be great.
I would like to take this time and thank the lord for the return of Chad Reed.
Go Villopoto!!
Go Chad Reed!!
God Bless

Sux about Stroupe.

Pressure on Dungey.

I'm ok with either Villopoto or Dungey winning the title.

.... Reedtard.

Hows the view up there on the fence?

As a fan of both the Ryan it's cool to see Villopoto dominating, I had higher hopes for Dungey this season. But hey, it's his rookie 450 season.

It's been awhile on forums, gave them up for lent.

wow, didn't know you could give up the forums for lent?
Yea, Dungey has nothing to hang his head about if he losses the title this year he is certianly a rider to watch in the future. It doesn't hurt to have Roger DeCoster in your ear either.

He has had an amazing year for a rookie. Even so if he were to lose the title after leading all year and being up 12 with 4 to go than I think he would view the season as a failure. These guys are way too competitive to see the good in anything but victory. We've wondered all year if he was holding back a little on V because of his points lead but now we shall see.
God Bless

haha well I gave them up, not sure if it's "legal" i think dungey will pull through and take the title, villopoto will make it a lot tougher on him. can't wait to see canard on a big bike full time

well I'm like Jumkie, if Dungey pulls thru and wins the title, good on him I wouldn't be pissed to see him hoist the trophy.
Canard full time on the big bike will be interesting. Honda needs to get him on some factory equipment if they haven't already. Canard is an enigma, his future on the big bikes is TBD I think. The person eveyone should watch out for on the big bikes will be Mr. Pourcel, his riding style suits the bigger bikes and he reminds me of another French great...Jean Michele Bayle. JM Bayle and David Bailey were two of the smoothest riders I'd ever seen in person, they were poetry in motion...ok sorry I'm babling now.

Babble on please.

We need more mx talk.
Maybe if you and Jumkie could get off the fence and pick a rider we could have some heated bopper threads that endlessly debate why Dungey stalled, how Dungey stalled, why his tire affected the stall. what characteristics of the engine affected the stall, what the rev limit contributed to the stall, why he didn't stall in practice, did Ricky Carmichaels development of the bike affect Dungeys riding style which led to the stall, and how his not yet to be grown goatee might affect the stall.
