Does anyone know where Hopper might be lining up this year. There isn't a lot of news about him at the moment. Will he be in SBK? Will he ride in the States? Even if Kawasaki get a bike on the grid in Motogp, it seems that seat is being groomed for Marco. Anyone have any info?

Probably opening the garden business I predicted last year.

Pete

No doubt spending the 5 milion bucks he earned last season for doing eff all

Not having a job sucks but when you have 5 million dollars to fall back on it must make things a little better. Im hoping he ends up in WSBK

Base on current vacancies Hopper has a better shot at getting Gibernaus seat in 2009 than getting any ride in WSBK.

In this case he will have to sit out 2009...I see no chance to get Giber's seat at a Spanish team, sponsored by a Spanish company. Ok, if Sete injures so bad then Hopper could get the chance but no other way.

Who's says he still has the 5 mil? His wife looks like the type to spend it all at the mall.

Based on current form, who would hire him? Ducati? Why would they give the bike to a rider whose been in GP for years and won nothing.

THeres plenty of fresh blood in 250 thad would be worth investing in rather than hopkins.

Fair play to her, shes won as many GPs as him.

It isn't like he doesn't have professional talent. Just where he will end up I don't know. BSB? He has a home there. WSBK? I think he is done in MotoGP.

He could easily be on a Kwak in WSBK.
A MotoGP Tech 3 Yamaha is also a serious possibility (STILL!)

Yam could make an extra satelite bike if they wanted to. They've already got his sponsor (Monster)

Why do you say this? The Flammini brothers are very intelligent and marketing geniuses. They have built an outstanding series with a much more sustainable model. They now have one good American, and I'm thinking they are looking for another. Like it or not Migs, the American market matters, hence why one of the very few rounds overseas is to the US. I'd think theses guys would be looking at Hopper as a good opportunity to increase their market share in the world of motorcycle racing.

Ah Pete, you and Austin never miss an opportunity to crap on Hopper, eh.

Do me a favor Pete, name me a man that has won on that machine in the dry during his tenure? You see, the thing is, that when you have a subpar bike, in any given race, you usually have a guy with a great bike in that same race. You only get one winner per race. So that means you're gonna have to tell me a time when the Suzuki was par with the best bike on the grid since 03, then we can talk apple/apples. You know better than that you clown.
