Hi Guys,

I am 27 years old biker from India.

I don't have as much as experience as the biggies here might be having. I own a small 150CC bike in India and have covered 1,00,000+kms on it in the last 8 years. Yeah it is not that much but enough for a lazy bug like me who is not into touring and long rides. I am majorly a city rider and have a huge inclination towards honing my skills as a skilled track biker.

I was searching for superbikes forum and found this one. I recently became a MotoGP fan and was excited to be a part of this forum. My favourite rider is Dani Pedrosa since I am a Honda boy

. lol. I hate to admit but Rossi has got skills that I haven't seen in any rider yet. But, I hope someone can come in and give some competition to Rossi. Anyways, no biasing. I just want to see good races. May the best rider win
<
.

hey welcome here. got to agree, may the best man win
<

dont worry about the experience, here's mine: dont own a bike and obviously have 'covered' 0,0km myself
<

<

Thanks guys for a warm welcome !!! I have been reading about the Brno race in the forums. I thoroughly enjoyed them. I am sure I am going to have a good knowledgeable time here.

hehe. Yeah probably
<
. I think his small stature poses as a limitation at times. Although, he has proved that it doesn't stop him from riding but there are times when it could have helped him to be a little taller. Anyways, he is my favorite. He doesn't have any antics and looks like a cool composed racer.

Thanks. I am from a city adjacent to the capital city New Delhi. You've been here?

^No, I have only been to the south around Goa and Kerila, great places to visit with lovely beaches.

If you are a Dani Pedrosa fan, I hope that you have thick skin because that guy gets his balls chewed off on this forum regularly. I hope you get on posts and start defending your boy, that should be interesting. Specially if you are passionate about it. Welcome

Thanks Franco

Well, I don't like Rossi much(and there is a difference between liking and appreciating the talent. I feel he is too flamboyant and a little disrespectful on the track) and Casey...hmmm...I am still trying to know him more. So, Dani is left whom I have more inclination that these two. Moreover I have recently been a MotoGP fan, say 5-7 months. You know you gotta know a lot about the History of riders, team profiles, team performances and other Moto Sports. So, still taking my time to know them. I like Simon in the 250 though he lost the first position in the last lap in the last race. I feel that guy is quite a good rider.

Coming back to Dani, I think that this guy has a lot of potential but he is moreover surrounded by people and team who doesn't let him be responsible for things. Also, I feel lack of commitment in the sense that he doesn't push himself too hard in the races. The major reason I support him is because of Honda. I still believe that Honda is unbeatable with a guy like Rossi on it. I think it is faster than Yamaha and in some cases might still beat the Ducati (correct me if I am wrong). Its just the rider is not good enough to push the bike to its true potential. Nicky Hayden is in Honda too but...well...I feel they are giving him a downgraded version of RC machine. Dunno why I feel that Dani's machine is much more advanced than Nicky's. Is that right?

But you have him as one of your favourite rider

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>So, Dani is left

There are a few other riders on the grid.

I like him too I just can't stand the hair, its rediculous.

You mean because Puig tells him what to do 24/7

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>Also, I feel lack of commitment in the sense that he doesn't push himself too hard in the races.

Agreed

Its widely considered that the Yam is the best bike on the grid and the Ducati with certain riders on it is very unbeatable. There are many other riders that I like that rider for Honda...well lets just say I like all the riders better than Dani. Watch and read about 2006 and 2007. Honda is horrible.

WOW !!! That's a lot of insight. I will definitely keep an eye out for Honda then. I just thought that Yamaha is not good after seeing lot of failure in the last season. But, will keep an open eye and will dig into things.
