Yea, like getting the rules changed to meet his pocketbook and agenda. I hold him to blame as much as anyone for this clusterfuck known as professional racing in the United States. I dont care to listen to anything he has to say.

The people who bought the bankrupted sport are evil. The people who bankrupted the sport are saints. You're kind of an ideologue

I thought the full clip was pretty good. ESPN and that journalist (her name escapes me) did a fairly good job of summarizing the technical aspects of the sport. They addressed its un-level playing field of the past to its somewhat better situation now in a way that was simple enough for a mainstream audience to understand, but without sounding overly dumbed down and stupid.

Overall it was good, its just the awkward mainstream coverage. Sportsbikes are like alien spacecraft to so many people. Never ridden them, and the only thing they've ever seen of sportsbikes is stunters in rap videos or young kids running from cops on the nightly news. First question when ever someone sees a sportsbike is "how fast?".

Nevermind that sportsbike riders actually seek out roads that force them to go slowly. It's the weird sensation you get turning a motorcycle on a backroad that makes it enjoyable.

By in large, the general public still has absolutely no idea why sportsbikes exist. They think its about going straight with the throttle wide open. That's the most boring part.
