And you weren't too far behind. The bike looks much better without dull black rims. Chromies? Yellow for Rossi and Red for Jorge (even a pin stripe). The blue and white mock up worked quite well.

Curve's sense of aesthetic (You studying to be an interior decorator?) has a point about the wheels. Blue or white rims would break up the two 'big black blobs' at either end...

In Krops defense, he has the handicap baggage of being one of a rarity of decent journos when talking to insiders. That probably makes his job a bit more difficult. I believe he believes what he believes, which is based on what he is told. As I once said, I have yet to read an official press release (or even one off the record) that says we (US) went to war in mid-east for oil. The writing between the lines sometimes is NOT so subtle.
For comparison, this week I was treated to two of the worst articles I've ever read. One is linked in the KS thread, some dude name Jensen (sorry Kropos, I know you said he is a "good dude", which may be true, but this particular article was not a shining example of good journalism, it was down right pitiful), and then there is this guy named "staff". http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2013/Mar/130320c.htm

The other stuff he told me, which I will not be publishing anywhere, passes the ........ test. This also passes the ........ test, unless you have a deep-seated need to believe that the New World Order is orchestrating events around the world at the micro level. Personally, I have no problem with chaos and incompetence, that's how I roll, and I luck into a bunch of really cool ..... Why shouldn't the rest of the world work like that?
