Hello from New York

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. New to the forum and looking forward to the discussions! I am an avid GP fan from New York. I am also a pretty seasoned rider and a riding instructor. I ride a 2016 Repsol SP among other things with two wheels.

Welcome. Any tips, like how do I make my tires stick like Marquez? No matter how I try they just won’t do it.

Marc uses a special tire compound made from the tears of other riders.

Welcome maybe you could solve our oldest on going debating. How does one back it into a corner? Chose your answer wisely as it will seal what side of the flame war you are on.

I was on your side on how to do it. A smidge of front brake and a controlled amount of throttle. No ice shaken not stirred.

Good question. I’m interested in how Marquez avoids tearing tendons and ligaments jolting elbows and knees into the tarmac. Special leathers, or a body like a gymnast? Insanley strong yet flexible.

He would actually rather than theoretically appear not to be human.

I've often thought same, so many times during his saves his knee sliders are pulled around behind his knee. Never wanted to post it to avoid tempting fate.

Me, personally, in a "backing it in situation" after I've grabbed as much brake as possible during entry, I trail brake with a bit of front brake to keep me from lowsiding as I lean as far as traction limits allow. And of course, throttle out.

His work out regime is well documented . Not only is the little bastard cut like a bodybuilder, he spends hours basically doing yoga. He has the strength and flexibility to pull these insane save off, it quit being luck about 100 episodes ago. Dude is ....... unreal.
