Hector Barbera breaks leg during training accident

I am still hurting over this. Might break a leg myself just so know what Hector is going through.

At least he hasn't broken a tow, sorry I mean toe

Get well, we ALL will miss that unmistakable style on the track

They always say 4 to 6 weeks for broken bones. most rider are back in 2 or 3 weeks unless is a very nasty break

Maybe he'll heal quicker if he can find someone else with a broken leg to follow through rehab

who knows, maybe with the softer tyres he will be able to get some heat into the tyres.

i'm all for letting new guys get a chance but i've always enjoyed watching toni slide with his butt on the asphalt.

whats he up to after aspar anyways?

He's riding the Pramac, and then probably heading up to Manresa, (home town) and wait for something to happen!

from what i've heard theyre in financial trouble and are not likely to lease a desmo next year at the current cost(like cardion ab). then again there are talks of ducati possibly having a junior team to still supply 4 bikes. most likely factory team and pramac as a junior team with barbera + a moto2 rider (ianonne/redding)

Its Elias

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/101463

Toni Elias will make his MotoGP comeback at this weekend's United States Grand Prix, deputising for the injured Hector Barbera at the Pramac Ducati squad.

Elias, 29, raced for the LCR Honda squad in grand prix racing's premier category last year, but stepped back down to Moto2, a series he won in 2010, for this year after losing his ride to Stefan Bradl.

However, since splitting with the Aspar squad earlier this month, the Spaniard has been without a full-time ride.

Elias has 96 MotoGP starts to his name and has claimed a single race win and five other podiums in that time.

Barbera, who underwent surgery on a broken leg last weekend, is expected to be out of action for four to six weeks.

You'd think that if you were a 'sub-par' rider..... that you'll thank the stars and heaven that you actually made it into MotoGP and make sure to keep good care in your health and well-being by not participating in any event that would risk your lively-hood and bread maker.

Geez.

Read a different report that it`ll be a CRT bike (Kawasaki) filling the space and Elias back to the Gresini Moto2 team to replace Gino Rea .Gresini planted a suspension swap on Gino and he`s struggled to dial it in.
