They won't, I think CRtandy out qualifying Rossi was embarrassment enough. They won't want a "has been" beating the 'Goat' during the race.

Yeah, it's such ........ when a rider gets a contract extension for beating his 9 time WC team mate and regularly being the highest placed rider of that marque.

SS you are such a tosser, a skid mark on the underpants of society

Regularly being higher placed isnt exactly accurate....

Rossi and Nicky are equally higher than each other at 5 times each in the race....and Rossi has had a 1 podium while Nicky none.....

And you only get points for races not qualifying....so doing 1 fast last isnt really making a case for regularly being higher placed in a race....

22 you can always rely on Migs to hate on Hayden...it's just like clock work!

StupidShitya....Nicky Hayden 2006 World Champ .... yea!!!!!! woo hooo!

Yeah exactly...my point was Hayden got a renewal because he tries....none of this "the bike is only good for seventh so i'm just going to poodle around at 50%" .....

I don't give a damn what the numbers for this year say, i'd much rather a slightly slower rider on my bike trying his hardest than a supposed genius who can't be bothered.

I'll join the L8braker bandwagon:

Supershitya: Nicky Hayden 2006 MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPION! Yeeaaah!

There was no hate in that post, just information showing that 22 had made a mistake in the claim that he made, he was wrong

Was reading the comments on Crash.net about Dovi signing on with Ducati for 2 years. There are a lot of people mis-informed about Nicky's 1 year contract. I don't think they know that Ducati wanted Nicky for 2 years, but Mr. Hayden only wanted a 1 year deal. So, for those that think Nicky wasn't high on Ducati's renewel list, might want to think again.

I personally think a 1 year contract puts Nicky in a bad position. If the bike comes good and he hasn't beat Dovi on a regular basis, he will be replaced by Redding or Espargo. Nicky is laying it out there, you have to give him that. He's racing for a 2014 MotoGP seat, gambling on himself to beat Dovi. Now if the bike is crap after 2013, Nicky can easily walk away and possibly ride WSBK or AMA, or whatever he wants to do.

I'm familiar with his rep, its all good. 22 has clarified his point now anyways and I agree that Hayden is an asset to Ducati and a much needed piece of consistency in a rapidly changing team

Ok i'll bite...how come people conveniently use numbers to LEAP to the defence of Mr Valentino Rossi ( the number 9 for example) yet conveniently forget these numbers when it suits them (numbers like 2-0-0-6, 2-5-2 and 2-4-7) to defend a rider riding far below his potential as some sort of way of justifying his performance. I don't particularly like my job and if I went in and said 'i'm only going to do half a days work today because I don't like the place and can't be bothered' i'd be sacked.

I don't give a monkeys toss what people say this year about the numbers. In the boppers own words, Rossi is a 9 time champ and is racing around with the CRT's (out qualified by one in Indy with no injuries) and there is one number that is conveniently forgotten is "50". That, in percent is how much effort Rossi is putting in with Ducati and no amount of repeating the sentence '9 times world champion' and "deserves a competitive ride" can ........ around the fact that Rossi is performing far far below his par this year simply because he has lost interest. Yes Ducati may not be developing the bike quickly enough but Stoner nor Hayden gave up riding the Desmo to its limit and in terms of effort alone, Hayden has out performed Rossi this year no matter how you cut it. If it were the other way around the boppers would no doubt be masturbating at Rossi qualifying on the front row and if Hayden was racing the CRT's many would be calling for his head. Thats why Senna is considered the greatest driver ever, not only for his technical abilities but he once famously said 'once the lights go green you have to drive with what you have' and he was one of the few who could do that....I;m not a bopper but for all his faults Stoner has shown has has much more natural speed for wringing every last ounce out of what he has underneath him, and not cruising around if he doesnt like what he has.

The fact that Hayden can do certain laptimes in that bike should mean that Rossi, the GOAT, the 9 time champion, can lap the same. The reason he doesnt is because he can't be bothered, and that is far less excuseable that a rider many consider to be sub par getting midfield results but trying his hardest.

Thought this was Hayden out for Brno ? Not Rossi is better or worse than Jumkie's man love
