Today was my first normal ride since November. It's just about 200miles with almost no traffic and all in 70s weather. I can't complain.
I usually stop at Descanso, Julian, Lake Henshaw via desert, Palomar Mountain, Pala, then come home all the way on freeway. The pic is at parking of The Round Up Grill in Lake Henshaw.

I know exactly that ride you took. I've taken it myself. Stayed at Lake Henshaw for a weekend and explored for 3 days. Every ride is stunning.

I'm a novice rider on CB300F. So I don't drag my knee on Palomar. ;)
But I do ride a lot. I commute on my bike and on my days off, I usually go ride somewhere.

Excellent. Nice bike. Palomar is perfect for a 300F because it's very tight. Little to no traffic.

Thanks :) I'm really happy that I got this too. It doesn't go faster than 100mph but it's a good thing for now I guess since I just started to ride like two years ago.

It's perfect for a novice. Most people screw themselves by getting too much bike then end up injured or dead. That's a great bike. You don't really need more than that.

Post a few more pics of your ride.

yeah that's what I thought. I test-rode 500 and 600 bikes but I thought they were too big to maneuver for me. I don't have too many pics of my bike cus I usually go ride by myself. lol I can't find a pic of right side of my bike but I remember taking pics when I put Yoshi pipe...

Part of my normal weekly route. I rode FZ-09 here last week.
No video of that ride though.

That's a nice area. You should ride the Angeles Crest, Highway 2, start from La Cañada, up towards Mount Wilson. You can ride the back side toward Wrightwood, cross the 15 Fwy, past Silver Lake on the 138, and up to Crestline, continue on the 18 toward Lake Arrowhead and on to Big Bear Lake. Continue past Big Bear Lake on to the 38, which will loop back towards Angelus Oaks. It will take you down the mountain to Redlands and the 10 Fwy. Take the 10 to the 15 south and and back home. It will take you all day.

that's kinda on the way to shooting range I go to. I'll definitely try that route.

Well Burro Canyon is up the hill. Azusa Canyon. That would be off the 210 near the 605.

No It's called Angels shooting range. They have private range up the hill behind the regular range called eagles nest. That's where I shoot.
