Well I have been reading your forum for the past couple weeks and I have enjoyed the interesting/cheerful discussions on here. I'm planning to go to my first GP Race at Phillip Island and I figured this would be a great place to meet some people and maybe ask a few questions.

I don't want to mess up this thread by asking any questions. I simply wanted to say hi to everyone

. If there is anyone in the forum that is from that area or plans on going to the Australian GP please shoot me a message.

Also, If I had questions about the circuit/area where would the best place to post?

Take Care all!!

BTW Go Hayyyyyyyyyden

First of all, welcome to the forum. We have a few Aussies in here, not sure who has been to PI before but I think a few have been and know the area. If you have any questions about traveling to a GP feel free to post them in the Lounge. By the way, nice rider choice. Enjoy your stay.

Thanks Ooost and frosty.... Yeah I've always wanted to go to Ozz but never had the chance. Wanted to go to Laguna but it is conflicting with work so I figured I would combine my GP experience with a nice vacation down unda. I'm traveling solo which kinda sucks but I don't care I know it wil be a blast. If I had to wait for my friends to be able to go I'd be waiting forever.

I've only been following GP for the past 3 years but this is the most exciting season since I've been watching. Hopefully the points will be pretty tight by the time PI rolls around. I'd like to see a battle for the championship during the final GP (of course with Hayden on top)

Thanks Again....

hey crazyc.. welcome to the forum!

you'd be better off asking katt or richo about PI.. they're the resident aussies on the forum and sure they'll know more than us!

hello crazyc.. welcome to the forum!

Enjoy and have fun at PI!!

Welcome!

I bet it seems like ages for your trip to PI!!! You'll have a blast!

Hey CrazyC, welcome to the site. I`ve actaully never been to PI before, its a fair hike from my neck of the woods, and being a student Ive never really had the time, money or the right bike (as in, somthing with more grunt than an average 250) I would go this year, but seeing I`m in japan this year I`ll be going to Motegi instead. My brother and a few mates are planning to make the trip, so I could probably hook you up with them if you get desperate, but I think Katt will be making the trip, and shes been to PI for different events before I think so she should be more help than me. Sorry I cant help ya. If I was going Id be more than happy to meet up with you and help you out with organising the trip, but unfortunately, I`m not. Sorry I cant be of more help

G'day crazy C ... welcome!

Is it just me or are a lot of people going to the races all of a sudden?

I'll just make this quick since I'm getting ready to go to bed....

Sorry Guys/Gals for not replying i've been camping all weekend. I just wanted to let ya know that I apreciate your reply's. I will shoot a few of you local experts a pm tomorrow sometime with my e-mail addey and some of the questions i had. I've been putting off buying my tickets since i don't know where the best place to sit is - one of the grandstands or just General Admin? I also had a few questions about lodging since I'm guessing all the local spots are probably already filled up.

Once again thanks
