What has happened to sete?

A major problem in his head is what i think.

He really wants to wake up in the morning AFTER having won a race the day before doesnt he?

It seems to me that he needs to be on a constant roll to win at all. And at the moment hes on a bad luck roll.

Poor sete, its disapointing because he has the talent to take on rossi, hes just lost a lot of mental strength....

Looks almost certain he goes to Ducati 2006,could be a different story then as long as he clicks with it in testing.

He put too much pressure on himself and every round that he doesn't win that pressure mounts on itself. I think that is why we have been seeing him crash more often lately, he is willing to take those risks to relieve that pressure.
 
The point is, hes never going to go one better than he did on a honda is he? unless vale buggers off of course...

The best that gibbers can hope for, for next year is 2nd place in the championship. Been there before havent you sete.
 
Agreed Ron. Perhaps his move to Ducati is ensuring his future financially as he wouldn't have banked much money with Honda next season.
 
Rather him at Ducati than honda 3mil not enough for him from to stay at honda ?get shut i say and bring in some fresh blood,someone who knows how to stay on the bike !

I must admit he is brain explosion just waiting to happen at the moment. Wish he would get his act together, I thought at the beginning of the year we were going to be in for a superb time the Rossi/Gibbers battle, But he hasn't recovered from the last corner accident at Jerez coz its been all down hill since.

it makes me laugh when we get our teeth into sete and most wots bin said is mostly true BUT when it cums to qualifying hes gunna be there aint he and race day well if they take a few laps of the race hes gunna b mostly infront

He does need some sort of therapy.

Honestly i reckon if rossi wasnt in that paddock racing for one weekend, and sete found a good setup(like he did for most rounds last year) then he could cream everyone else right?

Im not so sure because my theory is that the only reason why he was so good last year and at the beginning of this year, is because of Rossi. It was like a carrot dangling in front of him. Problem for sete is that the carrot bites back, and he chokes when the carrot is behind him. I honestly think half of sete's motivation last year was to beat rossi, and it worked a bit but once rossi took him on, he crumpled.

Thats exactly it winner.

The worst thing for sete is that he knows how to win. And just like Wayne Rainey says "Rossi's already got these guys beaten before they go out on track"

Can u imagine that thought playin over and over again in sete's head?

Its all psychological and so if u think about it sete is already given up before hes started, and once rossi comes past he thinks its over. I think at Jerez this year we saw sete at his peak. That last corner manover crippled him mate.
 
it was melandri that got him chokin last time tho! so everybody goin to be able to rattle him when they pass him!
 
I think every time he does well he just hears Vale's voice in his head saying he will never win another race...then proceeds to bin it..really quite a shame for someone with obvious talent.

My thought on Sete have kinda changed after chatting with him at Phillip Island. I think he has no confidence in himself anymore and I also think his woman plays a big part in all of this .... i don't reckon she is real good for him, (Hope you guys don't think I am crazy now) I still like the guy and yes i still feel for him!!
