Gibbers in Red.........its offical

Well the Eurosport Commentry team, Julian & Toby were not giving much away during yesterdays race. But its cool he has a ride for next year, 2006 will be a fresh start with no added pressure ( being a learning year with the team) apart from getting to grips with the beast.

I've heard the same rumors Xb however I believe it's HRC blowing smoke to get a new sponsor on their bikes. HRC gave Stoner the opportunity to ride for Pons, I don't think they would do that and then terminate their relationship with the team. It would put Stoner right back into the hands of Yamaha. I think it is very likely we will see Checa be the teammate to Stoner on Pons in 2006.

Yea, I think its if Pons takes Biaggi then they will not have Honda support, they are also using the tobacco sponsorship as an excuse but we just saw Fortuna back Gresini for two years so thats questionable move.

I think it is if they take Biaggi they will not have Honda support. I think it will be Checa and Barros/Stoner next year. Hey what if we are thrown for a loop and they get KRJR because he is not finalized.

I think the veterans we don't have finalized are Barros, Roberts, and Biaggi. Checa is not finalized but is almost sure to be with Pons.

I think Biaggi is quite finished, he was in the HRC team this year and he's been horrible. At his age you don't get any better.

Barros seems quite in low form, but he's been like that all his career, he's always lacked consistency, he started the season well but he's doing very badly lately.

Junior may not be finished, because we know he hasn't really been trying 100% in the last couple of years, and despite that and the injuries he has outscored Hopkins.

the old man will be runnin honda engines next season. jr will be the or 1 of the pilots.

It sounds very likely that the Team KR project will indeed be running Honda power in 2006 and it sounds as if it will be a family affair. www.crash.net have reported that both Kenny jr. and Kurtis Roberts are in the running for the "KRC211V" seats. As a favor to Kenny jr., Suzuki gave Kurtis a one off test of the Suzuki GSV-R. Perhaps Kenny and senior feel that a shake down on a somewhat decent machine could help sharpen Kurtis' skills before he gets his shot at the Honda KR mutant.

Honda KR mutant, lol, that probably will be an accurate description of the bike.

Well the chassis shouldn't need to many mods considering the engine is almost identical in shape (not in performance
<
) to the home made KR V5.

I truly believe the "KRC211V" (my personal vote for the name of the new machine) could be a very formidable weapon. One of the most powerful powerplants on the grid caged in one of the nimblest chasis. I look for bigger things from the team in 2006.

I doubt it, remember the moriwaki, Honda V5 engine with own made chassis, result ... it sucked big time.

Maybe if Kenny gets good tires, Junior still has it and the chassis is OK, MAYBE then they'll be challenging the Suzis and Kawas instead of the WCMs.

Talking about WCM what happened with the V6 Blata engine???
Does it exist?

The last I heard was that the project was still going on although delayed by lack of funds due to the crisis Blata is suffering in the pocket bike market.
But that was 3 months ago before I came to Maple land.

Yes but the Moriwaki team races one or two races a year and do not have a full staff of people working on it year round. We all know the engineers and technicians at KR are top of the line, they make up for their numbers with brains. So if the KRC211V (badass name) happens, the backmarkers better watch out and the midpack better be careful not to slip.

From what I've read the KR outfit is a very professional group and has been at it for some time now whereas I have no idea what Moriwaki do other than two races a year.

As far as WCM goes, like you said teo Blata had been in financial trouble so they had to delay the V6. I don't understand why they don't scrap the project, it will all have to be changed around in 2007 anyways. I have heard rumblings in various articles that they may not field a team in 2006.
