Just came back from checking out the new place we'll be living in with a job change. Nice mountains overlooking a bay north of Kyoto.

Plenty of nice bends to play on, too!

Rising-sun: Are you riding in Tokyo? I used to drive a van around there for a living and so was pretty awestruck when I saw this clip:

No riding for me in Tokyo, or anywhere, actually. Apparently you need a licence or something...

Driving a van around in the midst of that concrete nightmare must have been a stressful job for you. The guy on the bike seems to have a solution--not sure that I'd be slipping between trucks in tunnels, on bends, at 100+ clicks though. From what I've heard, and a few things I've seen, Japanese truck drivers have been known to do some crazy stuff on the road.
