great insights by batta, and given that hes out of it i believe what he's saying.francis is legit

Google translator sucks. is he saying WSBK is to expensive, should be more like Superstock. They should go back to 2 smokes in GP, and losing Honda would be the death knell for the sport.

Pov. Google translate is like listening to a politician. Get the gist of it then use your intelligence to read between the lines!!

Never been a huge fan of google translator myself. Bing does a bit better job on this article, imo.

Batta says that WSBK is too expensive, and he wants to return to an 'advanced Superstock' according to Bing translator. The specifics are unclear based on the translation. Google says the engines should be cheaper than private teams can build them, suggesting that he wants the manufacturers to homologate race prepped engines which teams purchase. Bing says that Batta wants the teams to be able to lay their hands on the engine (balancing, port, polish), which is what the teams did in the beginning of SBK. Allowing such modifications would be much higher than Superstock spec, along the lines of Supersport engine rules, which are used (or a close variant) in AMA and BSB. Probably doesn't matter either way. The team owners want to be rid of prototype parts. Both methods achieve that goal.

He says he wants all national championships to have the same rules. I agree, but I have no idea what rules would actually be ratified by all national series.
