BEN or C Snow:

When we set the teams for now, will there be any punishment or fluctuations in prices for the riders/bikes/machines/tires if we want to change team personnel?

I'm not Ben or Captain Snow but...As far as I remembered: any team changes before Qatar (not sure if it's before the practice), would be free...after which, the 10% release fee would be implemented.

I concur with Jane. No team changes before Qatar will be charged. Anything after wards will be charged. Make sure to check the rules, they explain everything clearly.

Spot on Jane!

Everything except swapping your 1st and 2nd riders throughout the season costs you the 10% release fee. You might need a calculator.

If you wish to do so you have the option too

I have a question:
I'm I right in assuming that team and egine points are scored based on the two best riders on that team/engine?
If so, with a one rider team the team only get this riders points?

Seems like they have a huge disadvantage. Maybe that's why the LCR team is quite cheap.

I would assume engine points are calculated from all competitors with that engine.

But yeah obviously teams with just one rider = disadvantage.

Let us know ben ... BEFORE it gets locked please!

Correct..........its probably the best way of doing it for a competitive league.

This might help show it better, it was the points scoring for Motegi:

As you can see, team & engine points are added togther to make a combined result. This does mean that 1 man teams (LCR & KR) do not have the ability to score maxium team points.

Hope this helps?

I understand the team points.
I'm not clear on the engine points and what you say about adding team and engine points to make a combined result.

If engine points are calculated by the top two of that engine...
In your example ducati get 38pts
Honda (16+11) would get only 27pts if the engine points are calculated by the top two only - as was in babelfish's assumption. Or is that what you meant by "team & engine points are added togther to make a combined result"...that, for example, FIAT's and Tech3's points will be added together to get the total for Yamaha.
Hence in your example Honda were top engine?

Engine points are combined, so yes Yamaha scores points for both Fiat & Tech3...which are added togther for a combined score

This is how the championship is done, so I use Dorna's actual race results sheets and just enter the points into the system.
