I was missing the race (spoilers) topic
<

Many riders with good race pace tomorrow, those starting at the front will have a better chance though. Will it be Lorenzo's day? Stoner (and Capirossi) will do a Rain Dance, Lorenzo (and Pedrosa) quite the opposite
<

Rossi ready for both. I think he'd be happy with gaining points on Stoner tomorrow, he will not risk a collar bone to win at all costs if the Spaniards prove to be a bit too fast.
Spoilers laying in ambush in the second row: Hayden, Edwards, Toseland...

ROSSI WINS!!!!!
ROSSI WINS!!!!
ROSSI

How about that for a spoiler? I hope that he wins but more important than that, I am hoping of a Lorenzo/Pedrosa rematch where Jorge puts Pedrosa to the test and wins...

I have a gut feeling that the fight for the spanish crown might lead to the fall of both.

It seemed like Casey was going to run away with this one last year before having tire problems. Even though Rossi is barely off pace with Bridgestone qualis. We need to see whether or not his rubber will last the race.

in this race at estoril,i feel that it could be a 1st turn disaster for the front runners if not careful.
pedrosa and lorenzo are on fire,so i think it will be a case of hang back, allow the errors to happen then pounce,

I keep having the same feeling--like something big will happen in turn 1.

Unless the Repsols bog the start they should be well clear by the time they hit turn 1, so I probably shouldn't be worried about Nicky.

I dunno this season has been too smooth. Estoril has plenty of tight sections so it seems like a great place for disaster to strike.

Standard stuff for wet to drying track. Anyone know if there is likely to be more rain today?

Looks like the weather is improving on the forcast as well. This wil be dry.

You can say that again. Stoner was on top in the warm up and the first michelin rider were on 6th: RdP.

Besides, the damp track means that Stoner didn't get any confirmation on over night changes that they most probably have done.

Never known a race outcome depend so much on the weather ... however, there is one rider who been fast in the dry and the wet so a wet & dry race should (repeat should) suit him fine.

250 running, still water on some spots, so the times are not really the best dry track times yet.
Ground: 20°C
MotoGP should be substantially a dry race then... Weather similar to the QP session.
I hope Stoner may find race pace, I even bet a few bucks on him also - the odds for Stoner have never been so good

More windy and thereby slightly less heat in the ground today, but otherwise similar.
Note that it did come a few drops around lap 17-18 but it stoped again.

Update: Dark clouds around the circuit...

I can feel that elusive win coming though.

Hang in there Toseland!
