With six races remaining in the 2011 season, any MotoGP rider who already has turned many race laps with the fifth of six engines allowed per season by Dorna rules could be punching a ticket to starting from the pit lane at Sepang or Valencia.
So who might be in trouble? The Ducati factory team leads the group toying with Johnny Danger.
Nick Hayden: The Kentucky Kid raced his sixth and final Desmosedici engine for the first time at Indianapolis. 69 is the only rider on the MotoGP grid who has seen his final powerplant of the season bolted into his chassis this season.
Valentino Rossi: It might be long before Rossi joins Hayden in the Scary Six Club, as he raced his fifth Ducati engine for the third consecutive race at Indianapolis. More ominously, Rossi has used Engine No. 5 at least three sessions per race at the last six races.
Wow, Rosi has 18 sessions and 3 races on one engine. That is actually very impressive, even by Honda standards
