Dear Mr Maidment

Thank you for your e-mail regarding 'Moto GP'.

I understand that you would like more of these events shown on the BBC.
'Moto GP' was broadcast on BBC TWO in April and July 2006. It is also
available at times through the interactive service.

As a public service broadcaster the BBC tries to cover a wide range of
sports to provide something of interest to every section of our
audience. However there will inevitably be times when what is on offer does
not meet your own particular interests. With so many sporting events and
such a wide audience I am sure you can appreciate, creating a schedule
which suits the entire audience's taste is a difficult, if not
impossible task.

Nevertheless, I appreciate you have been disappointed with the coverage
and therefore please be assured that your comments have been registered
on our audience log. This internal document is available to the BBC
Sport team and senior management.

Feedback of this nature helps us when making decisions about future BBC
programmes and services and your comments will play a part in this
process.

May I take this opportunity to thank you again for taking time to
contact the BBC.

Regards

Elaine Hunter

I've gave up on the BBC mate last year when, with 5 laps to go they switched to rubgy.....................sky was ordered that day!!! The bbc dont know what they have, they get a million viewers every sunday compared with Eurosports 570,000 .

I do like the fact the have the interviews n stuff.................but Eurosport kicks their ... for coverage any day, shame really, if they put some effort into it they could help turn gp into a bigger sport in the UK.

Yeah i also like eurosport,i think toby juels and randy do an ace job, what i hate is i cant get british eurosport on free view and the way they cut the race to show a poxy add. if the beeb got there arse into gear we could have live uncut races. im telling my mates to flood them with complaints about there coverage...who knows. ..i no "i would be lucky..

Yeah I've flicked over to the BBC two coverage (when covered ha ha) during the ads on Eurosport and you would swear the commentators were watching a different race. Eurosport commentators Toby and Randy are enthusiastic to the point of madness whereas BBC commentators and I can't even be bothered to find out their names seem to be watching grass grow or maybe even paint drying. The commentary on Eurosport kick ... and it runs usually for the whole race day so you don't miss much, except during the ads. Because they are so slap dash with the coverage even on bbc i I don't even bother to see if they are covering it. Shame though it could be so much better! Eurosport also repeat the race again and again so if you miss it (why would you) you get another chance, or if you want to relive it you can. This is especially good if you went to the race and then would like to see what happened where.

I understand that, I Looked after my neighbours cats whilst they were on hols and they said help yourself to Freeview as they subscribe to Top up TV, Eurosport dosen't start till 12 midday WTF is that all about

Nice that you got a response Roger, I would have pushed them to air the 125 & 250 races also.

Like many I prefer Eurosport and their team that comes with it, Steve Parrish Charlie Cox and the lovely Suzi I can put up with.

As part of my college course I get to go around the BBC studios, so I can bully them into showing more MotoGP methinks!!

Either that or that they'll just sling me out!!
