I am a huge fan of Bayliss both  in WSBK and as a bloke, and greatly enjoyed his victory in the last race of 2006, a race in which Capirossi finished second. That was one race though, and Capirossi won 8 premier class races and several lower class championships,  one of which  was admittedly not very creditable. Chris Vermeulen is not better than Casey Stoner because he beat him in that one wet race.
