Dovizioso changed boots?

Anyone notice that Dovi from the moment he went over to HRC no longer has TCX boots but Alpinestars? I was reading MotoSprint and saw a picture...before and after.

At the end of the day I guess it all comes down to the money...

Dani changed as well, two seasons ago from Dianese to Alpines - expect another change, word is he's become too big for his boots again.

Some riders do ride for the love of the Sport, others do things to prove a point, this and other examples show its not ‘All’ about money. So yes, they work for it, and nobody would not like it… the promo “Some things do not have a price, for everything else there is Master Card” fits right in.

Could it be down to sponsors too? such as Alpinestars sponsoring a certain rider, therefore they have to wear Alpinestairs boots and gloves?

it could be something to do with repsol wanting their riders to use alpinestars....didnt nicky hayden use alpinestars too?
it could also be that they are just plain good, if not the best boots available?

Very probably, although after nine years mine need replacing - they're that comfortable I've actually kept 'em on off the bike under my jeans on many occasions. In fact I'm going to put them on now because I have a fetish about them.

just as long as you dont need to wear a wetsuit with holes cut in appropriate places at the same time!

In Thailand you have to check closed-toe shoes for poisonous centipedes before donning them, methinks you should check yer Alpines for little poisonous Perdobots before you put them on next time...
