Also interesting to hear that Pedro thinks Lorenzo and Spies have the best race pace.

\

“The great unknown quantity will perhaps be Rossi,” he said in his latest blog. “It's his first year with Ducati and in Malaysia he wasn't amongst the fastest riders. But Rossi is Rossi, and you can never rely on anything. Even when he's in last place on the Saturday he still has the capacity to surprise.”

Additionally, Pedrosa is wary of reigning champions Yamaha, pointing out that Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies continue to display the most convincing race pace.

I'll say it again and stick by my guns. DUCATI WILL NOT PODIUM IN 2011

Interesting that he has said this but whilst the bookies apparently don't agree I can't see why anyone other than jorge would be favourite, barring significant technical advance by honda or ducati in what is the last year of the formula.

I'd say 1st,2nd would be difficult if Lorenzo, and Stoner finish, but 3rd?

Hayden might beat the cast of #2 riders on a given Sunday (or Saturday at Assen).

You are aware that a Ducati has been the winningest bike in the 800 era?

and that anybody can get on it and therefore win.

and that t has the most electronics and TC ( actually ... stow that one I think it does now that Rossi has gone there ....... they have added mamoth amounts of software intrusion and dev. compared to what Stoner obviously rode with )

What to say amongst so many omniscient guys, people who confidently can tell past, present and future

Except its actually Yamaha with 35 (Ducati has 28, Honda 11 and Suzuki 1)

Ducati has only won their races with 1 rider, whereas yamaha and Honda have won races with 2 riders. I agree with your theory, however Melandri and Hayden proved that no 'anybody' can get on it and win.

Yeah which " a Ducati" was that that I know not of ?

Geez I worded it deceptively enough ..... would have though it wuld have clicked
<

the thing is, if stoner won so many races on that bike i expect rossi to at least podium it,he's as good as anybody on a refined machine and i'm positive that the efforts of ducati and jb with rossis and haydens input will inevitably lead to a bike rossi is comfortable with and therefor able to show his strengths

What to say indeed!
<
I'd simply say that while it would be really hard (though admittedly nice and a great exercise in wishful thinking) for Vale and JB to pull another 2004 out of their hats, the suggestion that they won't manage a podium is a tad preposterous. Hang on a sec while I dig out my crystal ball...

Oh really!, deary me ..... I'm so dejected.

Oh wait I'm over that now
<

<

And here was I going to make you a video of me backing in a thumperkart tomorrow, I'd rather just ride now!

There would have been absolutely no use me saying every Ducati as is not much different however it does kinda indicate that if one singular other guy has done so well on it, then one should at least expect a podium or two. Though I am faltering on that too after the tests.

Beat you..

And yes, that IS done by using the back brake
<

No its offroad kart ...... actually ...... WTF are you arguing with me about backing it in for ......... you just showed some of the physics that agreed with me there ..... well I'm assuming you lost it at that corner without any brakes whatsoever ? did you not? ....... if you did ...... you are on the road to "the truth" grasshopper
<
<

It ain't all that different to the back end hanging out on a kart, except you have a few more hassles with the front end ..... and the big plus that the bike can be leaned.

Edit:

Just saw this.

No way! you can't possibly tell me have never had the back end out without the brake!!
<
its even raining!! oh ........! I get it you are just arguing to have a chopper/goat style sook at me
