Does James Toseland deserve to be Champ?

I like JT, solid racer and a real gentleman (ie- cool dude) as well. I think all racers dream of going to the big leagues one day (Haga and Bayliss have had their shots) so I wish JT the best of luck next year, even though it will be a tough one for him. That said, I will be pulling for Haga next year to get his first championship, but I think the rules (Ducati motor advantage) next year are going to give Bayliss an edge to pick up a championship in his final year. But only if he is "lucky".

Finally you boys have a "lucky" Brit to cheer for.
JT barely won by 2 points, Haga should have been champ had he not had some early "unluckiness", had it not been for that, he would have been champ. I guess JT got “lucky” to win the title. Eh.

JT won by 2 points. Wow, he was even more 'lucky' than Hayden!

Did you see how he just "cruised" around as a mid packer to collect points the last few races? I'm sure you Brits are very disappointed in him "cruising" around like that. Very unbecoming of a champ, in the estimation of a few members here as I recall.
But the racing was great all year. Yeah, multiple winners, close racing all year, a few “unlucky” DNFs from the former champ who still managed to get many wins, who would have won more races had it not been for "unluckiness", the champ starts with an early season lead but struggled down the stretch, aboard that geat Honda machine, and some “unlucky” incidents for the runner up and third place finisher of the season, the championship came down to the last event, the last race!

Wow, where and when has a there been a season like this before? Uhm? Thinking…
(The above has been tongue and cheek, if you are fairly new to this site, you may not get the joke.)

Spot on Jumkie, do you see a recurring theme of lucky Hondas beating the Yamahas by cruising?

i think the hondas need more chrome and a sissy bar

Saying: 'uuummhhh, did I say that?'

haha, what a difference a year makes buddy. I suppose you're gonna trade in that yellow 46 flag for a proper 52 one, eh. I look forward to the debates next year.

Great post R.J.
I would have loved to see Haga finally get a title but am happy for Twinkle Tosey as well. That Ducati next year will be hard to beat so Haga's chances could be slipping away.
JT and Colin Edwards on the same team. Press conferences are going to bring back memories of Bush and Blair G8 summits.
Think JT will get a back rub?

Really boys! You're the ones with the dirty minds around here. In the gutter. As usual. I play the piano. When I said I'd like to play a duet with him I meant simply that.
Huh!!!!!!!
